Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial Limitations

Final Fantasy XIV's free trial is one of the more generous in the genre, offering players a massive amount of content before they ever need to pay. However, it also comes with its own set of limitations. Among those limitations, the game's market board and trading with other players are off-limits. This makes it difficult to make gil in the game.

Gathering Classes

One of the best things about Final Fantasy XIV is that it offers players a huge amount of content to experience without paying for a subscription. However, there are some limitations placed on what can be done while in the free trial period. These include the official limits presented on Square Enix’s free trial page and community-found limitations as well.

While all of these limitations are understandable, they can be annoying at times. The free trial allows players to experience all the base game content as well as the first expansion, Heavensward. It also allows players to collect mounts, pets, titles, achievements, glamours, and more. In addition, players can join a Grand Company and participate in GC hunts and squadrons. However, the free trial limits a player’s level, story progress, and some crafting abilities. It also restricts the amount of items a player can sell on the market board. This means that the player may have to spend more on a new item than they receive from selling it.

Crafting Classes

As mentioned before, FFXIV is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game with lots of content. To give potential players a chance to experience all that the title has to offer, Square Enix offers a free trial period for the game. The f14 gil Free Trial gives players full access to the base game, A Realm Reborn and the first expansion, Heavensward. However, the free trial comes with some limitations that may be a turn-off for prospective players.

Those restrictions include limits on how many characters you can create per world and the maximum level of your character. In addition, the Free Trial doesn't allow you to use the in-game market board or hire retainers. Players should also know that any gil transferred between Worlds will be lost. Another restriction is that the Free Trial doesn't allow you to create a Linkshell or cross-world linkshell. Those restrictions may seem a bit restrictive, but should you decide to buy the game and become a paid member, your progress in the free trial will be saved.

Combat Classes

FFXIV's combat classes are some of the fastest and most reliable ways to accrue Gil in the game. The best combat players in the game are often making thousands of Gil every day, even after completing their main quest and all other quests.

The best combat classes for new players are Miner, Botanist, and Fisher, because they have the most options for gathering materials. In addition to farming, these classes can also sell their raw materials to other players on the Market Board for a good amount of Gil.

Another way to make money is by completing leves. These are repeatable, level-restricted quests that earn players experience and Gil. However, players can only have 100 "Leve Allowances" at a time, and these recharge at the rate of three every 12 real-world hours. Another method is by selling items on the player Market Board or FC Chest. However, this is a risky method since the game is not designed for players to do this.
